Game Sound Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
  • 1. Research and study the usage of varied audio production tools for game projects;
  • 2. Study and get familiar with the usage of game engine and audio middlewares and be able to independently integrate related API into development tools;

Game Sound Designer

Job Responsibilities:
  • - add voices to games to let players enjoy complete audio-visual experience.
  • - cooperate with game planners to let players taste game stories with sounds.
  • - use sound engines, restore real-world sounds in games and bring vivid experience for players.
  • - use sound-sample and make game sounds richer and more shocking.
  • - take advantage of music-play rules and engine capabilities to make game sounds more reasonable and more creative and promote the game quality.
Job Requirements:
  • - love games, film and other media sound design work; be keen on playing games. You are preferred if you have game-playing experience.
  • - have solid and professional foundation of audio, as well as basic concepts and principles of acoustics, various instrument effects, recording and foley,etc.
  • - be proficient in using one or more professional digital audio workstations (DAW), such as Protools, SoundForge, Nuendo, etc., and can use sound plugins skillfully .
  • - be preferred to know game's audio engine (such as FMOD,Wwise)
  • - Experience in game-sound-playing rules, or with analytical skills is preferred.
  • - pay attention to team work, with self-learning ability, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • - obtain bachelor's degree or above and excellent English ability is preferred.
Works Requirements:
  • - All works must contain sound effects you are responsible for and explain your part with word files.
  • - Video sound works should focus on sounds and can include sounds; they should be Fullmix version.
  • - Video format should be mp4/mov/avi, pure audio sample format should be wav/MP3/Ogg.

Concept Artist (car concept)

Job description:
  • - Analyze the trend of car body style and interior & exterior designs.
  • - perform design tasks of car body style, interior and exterior based on demands.
  • - Create and develop car modification design (bodykit, aerodynamic kit).
  • - Create and develop concept sports car and racing car.
  • - Develop car design manual, supervise 3D model production, and solve problems occurred during the production process of external and modification components.
Job Requirements:
  • - An undergraduate degree and above in car body style design, industrial design or product design.
  • - Experience relevant to car interior & exterior design (internship included).
  • - Enthusiasm for car design, deep understanding of car body style design language, and demonstrated knowledge of car structure and systems.
  • - Advanced skills with 2D and 3D design software (Photoshop, 3dsmax, Alias AutoStudio, VRED, SpeedForm, etc.)
  • - Strong knowledge of car history, car brand essence and brand design language.

Audio Engineer

Job description:
  • - Research the application of different tools of audio production in game project.
  • - Familiar with and research the implementation of features of game engine and audio middleware (Fmod, Wwise, CRI, etc.), and integrate or help to integrate relevant APIs into development tools.
  • - Provide sufficient technical support based on solid knowledge of the demand and problems in the process of audio development.
  • - Provide technical support for developing and optimizing the process and standard of audio resource development.
  • - Conduct prompt and effective technology research in order to achieve better audio effect in games.
  • - Constantly maintain the developing process and standard of game audio content and the application of engine tools based on the development of design, audio and program of the project.
  • - Write and maintain technical documentation for the use of game engine and audio middleware functions matching and development of game audio resources
Job Requirements:
  • - Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Python, C++ and C#.
  • - Familiarity with at least one main game development engine, such as UnrealEngine, CryEngine and Unity3D.
  • - Familiarity with at least one main audio middleware such as Wwise and FmodStudio.
  • - Passion for music or sound production, command of audio production or soundtrack basis, and interest in studying audio effects.
